Valentine’s Day is tomorrow and love is in the air … and so is the craziness of mid-semester blues here at TRSM. It is a time for you to show your loved ones in your life just how much they mean to you… and get your studying on?
Although, being a student is pretty hectic around this time we cannot forget about ourselves. I wanted to write a quick post to let you know that this is a time where you need to take that extra time out to love yourself. When midterms come around we also tend to forget about ourselves. We tend to get caught up in the stress of assignments and exams as we start skipping meals, not getting enough sleep, loading up on junk food or be hard on ourselves for a bad mark. Trust me, I’m guilty of this too!
So, I wanted to tell you that Valentine’s Day should also be a reminder to take that extra time out to treat yourself. Eat well, get some extra sleep or treat yourself to a relaxing night…or sneak in a sweet treat or a little V-day present for yourself! By taking a day out to remember YOU, it will help you feel better both physically and mentally. Everyone needs a little me time! You will also feel refreshed and ready to take the rest of the semester head on.
This Valentine’s Day be sure to show your loved ones how much they mean to you and remember to show yourself a bit of love too! I would also like to wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us here at the TRSM Blog!
